I was unable to find a second source for this story other then references on Matrix message boards to Stewart being interviewed. For a story that was published and has been lingering since the end of October, there should be other outlets picking up on it. AOL/TW may be able to create to a whooping silence about a settlement on them, but they have enemies with the capability of publishing news as well. This story doesn't have enough teeth yet. In a few ways, some of its teeth appear knocked out. Via http://members3.boardhost.com/playahata/msg/6095.html : ] Playahata.com interviewed Sophia some time ago, we willl post ] the interview very soon, we are in constant contact with her but ] In reference to the recent email article entitled "Mother of the ] Matrix Victorious," the title is misleading. Ms. Sophia Stewart ] has not yet won her case against Joel Silver, Time Warner and ] the Wachowski Bros. The decision last month enabled Ms. ] Stewart to proceed with her case, as all attempts to have it ] dismissed were unsuccessful. Ms. Stewart's case will proceed ] through the Central District Court of California. This seems to indicate that the Martha Carter story in the Salt Lake Community College Globe Link is in and of itself bad journalism. At the very least, there does appear to be a court case. Sophia Stewart will get a chance to make her case. Based on that, we will have an opportunity to see if it has anything to it. Everything here seems to be the use of hearsay to create attention.
