You have all these little communities, and then you've got Houston. I find it really hard to beleive that the average salary in Houston is over $100,000.

At first, I read it that way, too, and thought the same thing. But the data is "top zip codes", not top cities. Houston has a lot of different zip codes. This is only one of them. And that one in particular has a high average salary. This is NOT saying that the average salary in all of Houston is over $100k.
