None of these techie assholes gave a shit about downsizing until it affected them. None of em gave a shit about freedom of speech until it affected them. They didn't care about the unemployed until they found themselves in that position. The techies are the modern day equivalent of the 80's yuppies, except their success was written on the wind. Too bad they didn't work in high enough buildings to leap from during the dot-com crash.
