You can upload any type of ] file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! ] Recipients can be anyone with an email address This seems pretty cool. |

But I'd have coupled this system with some cryptography. |

But I'd have coupled this ] system with some cryptography. True, and while using it I was kind of wanting some crypto. The point of the site is not a vessel for sharing illegal things. Its simply to allow people a place to put large files for people to get it for various reasons (ie they don't have a HTTP/FTP server to upload to, mail server restricts size, etc). You could use your own PKE on top of it, between the sending and receiving parties. I wonder if they are pursuing some type of business model with this? Is there even one? Some kind of encrpted file escrow service perhaps? |
