[ Yeah, i have real doubts that they're gonna make a movie that those of us who watched the cartoon will recognize. For one thing, the cartoon was, aside from being unsettling, damn near incomprehensible, so they're gonna have to have a plot which can be started and finished in a 2 hour window, or no one's gonna see it. That inherently changes it since a major part (good or bad is a matter for the viewer) of the cartoon is the indistinct plot and incoherent world keeping you off balance. They're also gonna have to de-sexualize it a lot, i'm sure... the show really oozed that kinda creepy sexuality that you weren't quite sure if you're supposed to enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, i'll probly see it, if for no other reason than to see, as you say, Charlize Theron jumping around in purple spandex (actually, it should be vinyl, really), but I'm not expecting Aeon Flux. -k]
