Knowing this information could be very important if you ever suspect that you've woken up in the distant future and people are lying to you about it. You can also tell what month it is by looking at the big dipper if you are in the northern hemisphere. This only works if you're on planet earth. |

Well, if the stars are the same, but you're really sure its the future, this could imply a whole slew of other interesting scenarios, from Vanilla Sky to the Truman Show! |
