I think you will readjust that last statement. Really, hard as it is to believe , the dems sacred COW Tipper is a rotton cunt. The labels were the start of things. They did not censor, but merely provided a guide. However, when the Clinton Administration allowed Wal Mart to crush mom and pop merchants all over america, it also allowed for an ecomonic-based form of censorship. Music stores in malls began checking ID's when someone bought a record with a Tipper-sticker. The RIAA did not do this. SHE did. Think about it, why would the recording industry censor something that the public WANTED and BOUGHT. She was a bastard and I will see her in hell. I will be having a significantly better time than her, though. ] Blame the RIAA for not capitulating on a labelling system that ] made sense and dragging their feet (sound familiar?) forcing ] parental groups to make the move for them. I refuse to bow down like that. It was not their fault at all. They should never have had to label anything! Books are not labeled! Christ, I bought a copy of Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs from B. Dalton when I was in the sixth grade. Books have been immune to the ire of parental groups (since most of the people involved cannot read, possibly.), but records, TV Shows and movies come under the scrutiny of these self-appointed guardians of artistic morality. Incidentally, Democrat Paul Simon spearheaded the campaign to give TV a ratings system, Tipper Gore had a hard on for rock music, Democrat Jesse Jackson had a hard-on against George Clinton, and Bill Clinton gave shit to Public Enemy. I don't want to hear that democrats support first ammendment rights any more than republicans do. Neither does. Give me a break. Listen, I know folks who like computers blame the RIAA for all things bad in music, but let's not fool ourselves. In all fairness, republican housewife Caroline Baker had a bit to do with all this nonsense as well. Shit, ] ] keep it out of the hands of any mindless monkeys that vote ] for ] ] elephants or asses. ] ] here's the whole reason why I had to reply to this post. This ] is bad bad bad. I really don't think so. Listen. I came from a working class family of conservatives. Most of the liberals I met were middle class. It was unusual to me how we, as a people, like to present the illusion of caring about classes that could give a shit less about us, each other or themselves, even. If we really cared about the plight of white trash, then we would really do something about it, like elect a truly liberal-minded political party into the offices. Instead, the democrats have sued the Nader campaign to stifle his voice completely because they only care about winning, by any means necessary, just like the Republicans. This is wrong, and in my opinion, Kerry is the true spoiler of this election. He presents a conservative alternative to our conservative incumbent. Where's the choice? There is none, if they get their way. And you know what? It's not even really their fault. ITs' the public's fault. The public sucks! They are the emotional monster that cannot think deeply enough to make reasonable changes to the current system. They are the ones who allowed themselves to be fooled by career politicians at the expense of having a true statesmen take office. If our leaders suck, maybe they simply reflect us as a nation of morons. (of course there are exceptions, but going into them detracts from the main point.) Or maybe you're just throwing this grenade for ] effect? It wasn't a grenade, but funny how you used a Bill O'Reilly saying to describe me. No grenade here, just something natural. Evolution has not stopped. It's just that some folks are done with their evolutionary climb. You would be foolish to refute any notion that, sometime in the future, we will evolve into different species. Some humans will become more like wolves, others like lapdogs, and still others will become something more. Look at it, if I were a politician who promised every American that if I were elected they could have all of the sports cars, pussy, beer, and TV they wanted, along with three weeks of vacation per year, I would probably win a nice percentage of the vote. Some people have gone so far into an evolutionary downward spiral that they are becoming rather animalistic. What I am saying is that these mules work their jobs and reap the benefits, but some of us need something more. We think, therefore we are. They fuck, shit, sleep, work, drive, breed , fight and retire to Florida therefore they are. Sorry, we should simply give them that and then leave the complex thoughts to those of us who aspire to evolve. To paraphrase MArie Antoinette, "let them eat pussy...and drink beer!" The last thing you want to do is cause MORE gap ] between haves and have nots. No, like I said, give them an IROC, a cunt to fuck, a beer in hand or a cock to suck (and money to do their hair and go to the gym). They will have all that they want. This is how revolution happens. I don't think that is always the case. Sometimes it's how a civil war happens. ] And while I'm all for revolution, they have a tendency to be ] unpredictable and kill a lot of innocent people in the ] process. So what? People die. It's natural. In fact, nature has an interesting way of making us behave certain ways in order to keep the balance in check. Besides, no one on this planet is innocent of anything. Some simply pretend, and others have the media to sheild their indescretions. Besides, it's the people who are pumping gas and ] plowing fields who usually have their heads on straight about ] things most of the time. I seriously doubt that statement. Sorry, but being from a working-class background, I would say that "my people have been destroyed for willful ignorance and animalistic, reactionary instincts." It's the stock brokers and executives ] that tend to think that life is nothing but a video game. And they don't drag black people from the backs of pick-up trucks, or have drive-by shootings as a general rule. They never seem to riot, either. Hmmmmm....looks like that statement is refutable too. I am inclined to agree with you on some levels. But I think what you are trying to say is that they approach BUSINESS as if it is a video game. They approach life like anyone else in the rat race. THey eat, fuck, shit, piss, drink, and drive cars before dying. RE: Alice slams anti-Bush rockers |
