Click on the "QR Code Generator" link at the top of the page, then click on "details" and look at this guy's fucking phone. The thing translates DOG BARKS into JAPANEESE!@#!@#!@#!@#$

No, they don't sell it in the states. I hate living in a country with one of the world's slowest technological adoption rates.

[ Very interesting... they're variable size, which is cool, allowing them to be only as big as necessary to encode the given data. Looks like anything less than 15 chars and it's a 21px square. But "I think that George W. Bush is a crappy president, and I'm not voting for him." is 37px sqare. Pretty neat. -k]

The Japaneese have cellphones that tag pictures with GPS images and cellphones that will pull up URLs and email addresses from these bar codes. They have all the tech toys that I want to play with!!!@?#!

Is there software out for American phones that will read these standard barcodes?
