Joseph Goebbels argued that the Nazi media should be such that the more of it Germans consumed, the less they would know, and the more likely they would be to support Nazi policies unconditionally. In a controlled media this is an easy things to achieve. In an open media, it just requires some creativity to utilize your supporters and achieve the same general effect.
