There is a ventilation system with security feature that shuts it off if they outside environment has CO levels that are too high. Apparently there is some sort of "rebreathing" apparatus but the website is not clear about how long it lasts. Apparently you can customize this feature to your liking when you order it.

Ok, that sounds better, but what happens when the CO2 levels outside get too high and it shuts off? If they stay too high, then it may not come back on soon enough. Crazy.....
