[ Hyperbole aside, I agree that the ABB mentality overshadows the need for some serious restructuring within the party. There's a lot of things that aren't being said because no one wants to jeopardize the win in november. I really do expect a lot of that to shake out regardless of who wins. Whether anything comes of it, i'm not so sure. I'm not so naive as to think Dean and the Blogs have revolutionized politics, but i feel like some progressive steps were taken, even if they were baby steps. I think the new funding and propaganda mechanisms are promising and i'm pretty happy with the increased availability of viewpoints and discussion on the web. Anyway, the lesser of two evils is still less evil, and it's still a positive motion, even if it doesn't satisfy the idealist side of me. -k] RE: John Kerry's real tech agenda | Perspectives | CNET News.com |
