Perhaps if soldiers below the rank of Colonel were paid a realistic wage, more soldiers would make careers of the gig and the army would not have to engage insipid legal manouvres like stop-loss and voluntary reserve to keep their numbers up... If they haven't dotted all the legal I(s) and crossed the T(s), the DOD stands to lose a lot of face in court soon. Maybe they can hire the CIA as a business consultant.. ;) |
