It's Jim Fixx deja vu all over again. To those of you too young to know that name, He was the Marlboro smoking marathon runner and author who popularized the sport of running; his 1977 bestseller The Complete Book of Running, is credited with helping start America's fitness revolution. He died of a heart attack while running in 1984.

I remember all to well Jim Fixx "Mr. Grape Nuts" keeling over from a coronary back in '84. Though I didn't know he was a smoker!?!? What the fuck is that all about? Reminds me of a meme a few weeks back where one 'tard said "cure lung cancer and we can smoke safely". Jim Fixx must have thought "Since I'm a athlete, I can smoke all I want and its a wash."

Guess not Jim. -LB
