In the aftermath of its national election, Spain, along with the rest of the world, is struggling to answer a harrowing question: who really won on Sunday, the Socialists or the terrorists? The main television channel TVE, which is state-owned, suddenly changed its regular programming to air a documentary on the horrors of ETA. "The editor said we don't want that, don't pay attention." The major Spanish media outlets played a significant role in the election. This article makes no mention of the Internet. I would be interested in an analysis of the Internet's impact on the recent election in Spain. | |||
