] licenses to same-sex couples. Nearly 3,000 couples have
] taken advantage of it, despite the filing of two lawsuits

I never thought I'd say this, but...thank God for California! I especially like the quote at the bottom saying that redefining marriage to include homosexuals will lead to activist polygamists, group-marriage proponents, and, though she didn't add it, I'm sure she fears love between man and beast will be sanctioned next. That's right, lady...the difference between this handbasket and hell is a slippery slope. I wonder if she considered suing Disney over "Beauty and the Beast"; might make for an interesting edition of "When Lawyers Attack."
