I saw William Hung on ET last night. He has become an "American Idol".
] Cowell and fellow judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul
] sunk to sophomoric humor about the contestant's name
] during the San Francisco auditions -- having him sing
] Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" as a not-so-subtle play on
] Hung's moniker.

] Leaning back in his trademark too-cool-for-the-room
] attitude, Simon cattily commented in his snooty English
] accent, "You cawn't sing. You cawn't dance. So what do
] you want to say?"

] That's when polite trumped snark.
