Southerners don't exercise because exercise is for Northerners. Most Northerners are lazy and don't have to actually do real work for a living, so they need to belong to a gym in order to work off the lattes that accompanied lunch, which they had delivered to them in their office where they sit all day on their asses in their Herman Miller Aeron chairs, cybersexing on facebook, talking on a phone sex lines and then, in the evening carting their stupid kids to soccer practice. In the South, people work real jobs and get plenty of exercise while kicking their kids across the living room in the general direction of the beer cooler.
