Its not polling well. Apparently 68% of Americans are opposed to his Moon/Mars plan, unfortunately. I kind of like the idea. However the space program is expensive, people have seen a lot of failed missions, and they don't have perspective on why its important. Its easy to sell competition with the russians. Its harder to sell futurism.
